Indians’ performnce evokes memories of championship
Excepting its 47-0 road loss to Naples on Sept. 6, Immokalee has been going up and down the field on opponents. The Indians rolled up 59 points on Barron Collier in the season opener, walloped Gateway 66-6 Sept. 20 and put up 56 points against both Aubrey Rogers and Palmetto Ridge.
It was last year, right around this time, that we wrote in this very space about the remarkable story that was the Immokalee Indians high school football team.
