    Serving double duty as coach and new dad

    The joke is always that high school football coaches basically kiss their wives and kids goodbye when fall practice starts, knowing that any time they get with their actual families will be minutes to the hours their teams get.

    It is easy to forget sometimes that high school football coaches have families of their own, given that they are entrusted with a goodly percentage of the mentoring and guiding of anywhere from 35 to 60 young men through an extremely influential period of their lives.
