Say hi to childhood friends in children’s book art exhibit
When the Cat in the Hat is the welcoming committee, you just can’t get into the Watson Gallery fast enough. The Dr. Seuss dean of children’s book characters stands at the door of the Naples Art Institute’s main exhibition room in kid-height cutout form, beckoning like spring’s first robin to draw guests toward the familiar faces and beloved scenes inside.
