Downtown Naples— March 16: The annual Naples St. Patrick’s Day celebrations kick off with the flag-raising at 9:30 a.m. at Crayton Cove with complimentary snacks and beverages provided by The Dock, followed by the parade at 11 a.m. The parade route begins on 10th Avenue South and Third Street South, heading north until it takes a right turn onto Fifth Avenue South. It’ll continue east until Eighth Street South when it will turn south and end just past Naples City Hall. The Naples St. Patrick Foundation organizes the weekend’s events, and proceeds are donated to local high school bands and scholarships. naplesparade.com
Sidebar— March 16: This downtown cocktail bar on the parade route at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Fifth Street will be opening at 11 a.m. offering its frozen Irish coffees for those looking to get an early start to their Saturday festivities. Brookside Beer Market—
March 16: This craft beer mecca will be transforming into Paddy’s Pub for a night and hosting an “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” themed party starting at 6 p.m. In addition to $4 Scotty’s Bierwerks Irish Red Ale drafts and $4 Guinnesses, it’ll be mixing up two special beer cocktails as well. Only Doubles will be on-site serving up Naples’ favorite smashburgers along with a one-day St. Patrick’s Day special. The Hangout by Two Guys—
March 16-17: Brothers Larry and Peter Falisi and the rest of the team behind this local favorite will be offering Irish delights all weekend long, including shepherd’s pie and corned beef and cabbage. On Saturday at 7:30 p.m., The Hangout will present a Lucky Charms eating contest as contestants race to chow down 8 ounces of cereal served with the contestant’s choice of milk, water or Guinness. The Oasis Naples— March 1617: Another two-day event, this one dubbed a Chicago-style St. Pat’s Bash. Music is scheduled from noon to close Saturday and Sunday, including bagpipers from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Alchemist Kava Bar & Lounge— March 16: For those looking for a nonalcoholic event for the weekend, Alchemist is organizing a spinning class with its neighbors

March 17: One of Naples’ newest hotspots will be hosting its Outdoor Bash on March 17 beginning at 11 a.m. with green eggs and ham for the early arrivers and a traditional corned beef dinner for the later crowd. March 17: It’ll be Shea’s first St. Patrick’s Day since moving from downtown Naples into its new Naples Boulevard space.
