Boy Scout salutes movement’s attempts to raise responsible adults

February is Boy Scout Month. A. Robert Baden-Powell started the scouting movement in 1857, and the first Boy Scout organization in the U.S. was established Feb. 8, 1910— making this month a fitting time to spotlight 16-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez, a Life Scout with Scouts Boy Scouts of America Troop 2, who is on a mission to earn the coveted Eagle Scout rank.
