SPEAKING OF SPORTS: Friday Night Lights blinking off, one by one, for another year

This time of the year always makes me a little wistful. You can’t really call it the holiday blues, as I enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas as much as the next person—and respect the former enough to celebrate it before beginning to decorate for the latter.
