Opera Naples, Pavarotti Foundation team up for festival and beyond
But Pavarotti was known primarily as an opera star even novices could love, bringing warmth and vulnerability to starring roles in Puccini, Verdi and Donizetti works. The foundation supports that genre by assisting young singers.
