Peruvian staples shine at La Cuisine restaurant

There is no singular dish to define Peruvian “cuisine.” Influences from indigenous peoples, European settlers and Chinese and Japanese immigrants are evident in the variety of flavors and cooking techniques you’ll find in a well-versed Peruvian kitchen. Naples has been spoiled over the last decade with an influx of restaurants practicing these delicious traditions, and on our recent visit to 10-year-old La Cuisine in East Naples, every aspect of Peruvian cooking was on display. It’s a restaurant that reminds us strip mall dining can be as exciting as it is affordable, even if it’s sandwiched between a six-screen movie theater and a storefront for a home cleaning service.
