Easter, Passover special seasons, with special events
On a spiritual level, this may be the most important season of the year. For Christians—both on Western or Orthodox calendars, April 9 and 16 respectively— Easter symbolizes the promise of forgiveness embodied in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For Jews, it is the commemoration of the Passover night before their exodus from slavery in Egypt.
